Pretty good shawarma place in Kanata. I usually get the platter as opposed the the wrap. Good amount of food for the money. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The chicken and beef are both pretty good. I've had the donair and it tends to be a little dry and the chicken or beef shawarma are so much better. The garlic potatoes are very good if you get them fresh (which the usually are). If they've been sitting around a while the tend to be very oily. The sauces and sides are pretty much the norm. My husband and I went for lunch following the Carleton Place Triathlon. My husband got a free meal with his tri registration. He had a spicy chicken wrap with cold soup. He loved it. I had the veggie smash burger with sweet potato fries. It was the best veggie burger I've ever had. It came home made mustard, relish and ketchup on the side (all were amazing). The bun was fresh and chewy. The prices were excellent value for money. We will definitely go again. Oh yes, and the service was fast and friendly! Read more

We were greeted at the door by a respectful very friendly young woman named kirsten, then brought to our nice roomy comfortable booth at the side of the restaurant. we were greeted by our server straight away, Tina, who Brought our first round of drinks. Once we saw the menu we ordered nice and quickly, the menu was quite detailed. Salad and bread was brought to our table and the feast began. when tina brought our food to the table i joked that i might have to take it home. I was able to eat a couple of pieces and she kindly packed the rest up for me. I enjoyed the NY theme in this resaurant.
