An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella. Got home. Tired! Hungry! So I decided with my friend to try the Golden Star as we are new to the area. Wow! What a great choice we made. We used the JustEat.ca site to place our order and we were impressed by the pricing and the low delivery charge. Well we had our food in less than 30 minutes at our door and it was hot and fresh with a polite smiling delivery person. Everything was as ordered and the taste was super. The portion sizes were huge as we'll be finishing the rest today. I highly recommend Golden Star as we'll be back. Read more
