After a friend had gotten her hair done in the area, we asked about a good place for a simple lunch and they recommended Memories. We got there at noon on a Tuesday and there were a few customers there enjoying huge salads and sandwhiches. We had a lovely hot and flavourful squash soup, a huge veggie sandwhich on toasted grain bread with herbed cheese, pesto, lettuce and cucumber and a chicken quesadilla . All very fresh and nicely presented. Water was brought without having to ask for it. The menu catered well to vegetarians as well although it wasn't large. The pies and cakes in the counter were huge-too stuffed to give them a try. A good place for an afternoon dessert/coffee. Also serve a weekend breakfast. Service was very good. Prices reasonable. The owner is incredibly nice and the food is amazing (if it is your first time there, definitely order what the owner suggests!).
